FLASHFICTION

What is flash fiction, also known as micro-fiction or quick fiction? It is a complex genre of short-story writing format. Consisting of a fusion of ingredients, sometimes in non-linear arrangement, and usually consists of a few hundred words or less. Flash fiction might be hard to digest, or analyze. That’s because a flash fiction may be just a fragment of a larger story, perhaps a glimpse of a  novel. Yet, that’s the beauty of flash fiction. It’s a short narrative that embodies the character, and events to project the moral of the story which the author is trying to convey. A "get to the point" style of storytelling.

The following are Salvador Solomon's flash fiction collection based on his first-hand account, personal experience and exploits. Anecdotes of events and cognitive reveries written in prose. In essence, they are interpretation of the storyteller’s own menagerie of afterthoughts. Alike abstract paintings in which you could easily lose yourself, each narrative is a portrait for your own analysis. Soon, you’ll enter a gallery where each doorway leads to the same crossroad, where reality and fiction collides.
